of the medicated feed additive business of Pfizer Animal Health. A division of
Phibro Animal Health Corporation, our company develops, manufactures and
markets medicated feed additives.
We also market animal health and nutrition products manufactured by other
Phibro Animal Health Corporation subsidiaries.

About medicated feed additives
Medicated feed additives (MFAs) are pharmaceutical products that may be added to
the feedstuffs of poultry, pigs, cattle or other food-animal species. The
inclusion rate for these products is extremely small — measured in grams per ton
of feed — yet they have a big impact on the health and welfare of birds and
livestock. MFAs are unique because they can be delivered quickly and efficiently
to a large number of animals at the same time.
Among the classes of medications found in MFAs are:
- Antibiotics to prevent and treat bacterial diseases
- Anticoccidials, both ionophores and chemically synthesized, to control coccidiosis
- Dewormers to control intestinal parasites
